Dubai, UAE – July 2025

In a landmark initiative poised to reshape the future of real estate, the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the Dubai Land Department (DLD) have launched the Dubai PropTech Hub, the first of its kind in the region. The innovation hub will serve as a dynamic ecosystem dedicated to advancing property technology, or PropTech, by integrating AI, blockchain, and Web3 across the real estate value chain.

Set within the DIFC Innovation Hub, the new platform will unite developers, investors, regulators, and tech disruptors under one roof, driving collaborative innovation and accelerating digital transformation in the sector.

Ambitious Targets to Boost Economy and Innovation
The Dubai PropTech Hub aims to support over 200 startups and scale-ups, create more than 3,000 jobs, and attract upwards of $300 million in investments by the year 2030. It aligns with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033, reinforcing Dubai’s vision to lead the global real estate innovation race.

“This initiative will help fast-track Dubai’s PropTech market and position the city as a world-leading hub for real estate innovation,” said H.E. Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC.
“It’s a key step in building a real estate ecosystem centered on technology, talent, and transformation,” he added.

A Strategic Collaboration
The partnership follows the vision set by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and underscores the emirate’s ambition to integrate advanced technologies into all economic sectors.
The PropTech Hub will offer:

  • Specialized licenses and office space
  • Incubation and venture-building programs
  • Regulatory sandboxes for pilot projects
  • A supportive legal and financial environment within DIFC

This hub supports our Real Estate Evolution Space (REES) project and will accelerate our 2033 real estate goals through innovation, AI adoption, and global partnerships,

stated H.E. Omar Hamad BuShehab, Director General of the DLD.

Industry-Backed Innovation

The initiative has already attracted key founding partners, including major developers such as:

  • Binghatti
  • Majid Al Futtaim
  • Sobha Realty
  • Union Properties

Infrastructure partner Transguard

These companies are actively piloting smart building technologies and AI-driven platforms through DIFC’s PropTech accelerator programs.

Shaping the Future of Real Estate

The Dubai PropTech Hub stands out for its open and collaborative approach, enabling cross-sector innovation that benefits residents, investors, developers, and international stakeholders.
Ultimately, the hub aims to foster a transparent, accessible, and technology-first real estate environment transforming how property is developed, managed, and experienced in Dubai and beyond.
