Dubai – 15 October 2026
The second cohort of the Dubai Financial Experts Programme will focus on developing Emirati professionals to lead innovation and strengthen the future of the financial sector in Dubai, the UAE and internationally.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development (MBRCLD), Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Emirates NBD Group to launch the new cohort. The agreement was signed during the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum.
The six-month programme will bring together 20 Emirati professionals aged between 25 and 35, with five to ten years of professional experience. It aims to strengthen their financial expertise, leadership capabilities and ability to respond to changes shaping the global financial services industry.
Participants will receive specialised education covering investment, finance, risk management, financial regulation, banking innovation and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, blockchain and financial technology. The programme will also include mentoring, international knowledge visits and practical exposure to leading financial institutions and technology companies.
Through executive education and professional immersion, the initiative aims to equip participants with the skills to develop innovative financial solutions, contribute to their organisations and progress towards leadership roles. It also supports Dubai’s ambition to reinforce its position as a leading global financial hub, in line with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
Registration and participant selection are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026, with the second cohort expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027. The programme is due to conclude in summer 2027, followed by a graduation ceremony at Dubai World Trade Centre in September.
