The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the leading financial hub serving the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, has officially joined the fourth edition of the 1 billion Followers Summit as a Gold Partner. The Summit is recognized as the world’s largest gathering dedicated to the content creation and digital media industry.
Organized by the UAE Government Media Office, the event will run from January 9 to 11, 2026, across Jumeirah Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future, under the theme “Content for Good.”

His Excellency Arif Amiri, CEO of the DIFC Authority, highlighted the significance of the collaboration, stating:

Her Excellency Alia AlHammadi, Vice Chairperson of the UAE Government Media Office and Director of the Summit, emphasized DIFC’s value to the event:

DIFC’s Record Growth
DIFC continues to expand its global influence, achieving major milestones in 2025. The Centre now hosts over 8,000 active registered companies, including more than 1,000 regulated firms the largest cluster of financial and innovation institutions across the MEASA region.
The DIFC community has also grown to 48,000 skilled professionals, reflecting the Centre’s ability to attract global firms, top-tier talent, and next-generation innovators shaping Dubai’s economic future.
Summit Builds on Global Success
The upcoming edition follows the momentum of the 2025 Summit, which drew more than 15,000 content creators, 420 speakers, and 125 CEOs and global experts.
