Dubai, UAE – 07 April 2026
Siena, a Paris-born dining concept popular with high-profile guests, is set to open in Dubai on 7 April 2026, marking its first expansion outside France.
Located in DIFC, the new venue introduces a blend of Parisian elegance and Tuscan charm to the city’s restaurant scene. The concept originally launched in Paris in May 2023 and quickly gained attention as a celebrity hotspot, welcoming figures such as Rihanna, LeBron James, Pharrell Williams, Gigi Hadid and Jay-Z. A signature feature of the restaurant is its tradition of inviting notable guests to sign plates, which are then framed and displayed.
The Dubai outpost is led by founder Mehdi Abdelhedi in partnership with Rizwan Kassim, CEO of Paris Society. Together, they aim to adapt the concept to suit Dubai’s dynamic dining culture while preserving its original identity.
Designed to cater to a range of occasions, from business lunches to late-night gatherings, the space draws inspiration from an Italian palazzo. Interiors include fresco-style walls, marble surfaces and custom chandeliers, reinterpreted for the region by interior architect Laleh Amir Assefi.
The menu focuses on Italian comfort dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients. Highlights include lobster focaccina, truffle burrata, beef carpaccio and a selection of pastas such as rigatoni, truffle ravioli and linguine with lobster. Desserts feature classics like tiramisu, chocolate fondant and lemon meringue tart.
As the evening progresses, the venue transitions into a more lively setting, with music shifting towards house and disco.
Siena Dubai joins a well-established culinary neighbourhood in DIFC, alongside restaurants such as GAIA, La Petite Maison and Zuma. The opening is backed by Rikas Hospitality Group, known for concepts including Gigi Rigolatto, Mimi Kakushi and Ninive.
The restaurant will operate from Tuesday to Sunday, starting at 7pm, at Gate Village 7 in DIFC.
