Gate Avenue, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), will welcome young runners this Saturday, 12 September, for the Mallathon DIFC Kids’ Running Challenge, bringing a lively morning of running, movement and family fun to the district.
Organised by Peloton Events with support from the Dubai Sports Council, the challenge gives children the chance to enjoy running in a relaxed and energetic setting. With friends, families and other young participants around them, the morning is set to be as much about having fun as it is about crossing the finish line.
The run will take place inside Gate Avenue, giving children a climate-controlled space to stay active while enjoying the excitement of an organised running challenge. Bib collection begins at 7:30am, with the race starting at 8:00am.
For the young runners, the experience comes with a few memorable touches, including a T-shirt and medal to mark their participation. Timing and live results will also allow children to see how they performed during the run.
Beyond the race itself, the event adds a playful sporting moment to DIFC’s weekend calendar, giving families an opportunity to start their Saturday with an activity centred around movement and enjoyment.
With children running through Gate Avenue and families cheering them on, the Mallathon Kids’ Running Challenge is set to bring a youthful and energetic atmosphere to DIFC on 12 September.
