Dubai – 6 November 2026
Dubai Run will return on Sunday, 22 November 2026, bringing thousands of participants together for a morning of running and walking along Sheikh Zayed Road. As part of the 10th edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, the event will once again transform one of the city’s busiest roads into a dedicated running route.
Scheduled to start at 6:30 am, Dubai Run welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels, with two distances available: a 5km route through Downtown Dubai and a 10km route along Sheikh Zayed Road.
Both routes will begin near the Museum of the Future. The 5km course will finish on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, close to Dubai Mall, while the 10km route will continue along Sheikh Zayed Road, concluding at the Gate Building in DIFC, near Emirates Towers.
The event offers residents and visitors an opportunity to experience the city from a different perspective, with major roads temporarily closed to traffic to accommodate participants. Whether running, jogging or walking, the focus is on community participation rather than competition, allowing people to take part at their own pace.
Registration Now Open
Registration for Dubai Run 2026 is now open and participation is free of charge. All participants must register in advance and collect their running bib before the event, as bibs are required to take part. Participants can choose their preferred distance during registration, with each adult required to complete an individual registration.
Dubai Run forms part of the wider Dubai Fitness Challenge, which runs from 31 October to 29 November 2026 and encourages residents to complete 30 minutes of physical activity every day for 30 days.
With the 10km route finishing at DIFC’s Gate Building, the event also brings the wider Dubai community into the heart of the district, making it an opportunity for DIFC residents, professionals and visitors to take part in one of the city’s major annual fitness gatherings.
