Dubai – 2 November 2026
J.P. Morgan Private Bank has opened a new branch in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), marking another step in the international financial group’s expansion in the Middle East. The new branch strengthens the bank’s local presence and supports its services for wealthy individuals, families and investors across the region.
The move comes amid growing demand for private banking and wealth management services in the UAE. As high-net-worth individuals increasingly hold assets across different countries, including property portfolios, business interests and financial investments, they often require more specialised financial arrangements to manage their wealth internationally.
Private banking generally involves tailored financial services for affluent clients, which may include investment management, wealth planning and advice on managing assets. Through its expanded presence in DIFC, J.P. Morgan aims to be closer to clients in the region and support their financial needs.
The opening also follows significant growth in the bank’s Dubai-based private banking team, which has more than tripled in size over the past year. The new branch operates within DIFC’s financial regulatory environment, under the supervision of the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).
J.P. Morgan’s expansion adds to DIFC’s growing community of international financial institutions and private wealth firms. The centre has become an established base for companies serving wealthy individuals, family offices and institutional investors, reflecting Dubai’s wider role as a regional hub for wealth management and financial services.
The new branch further strengthens the range of financial institutions operating within DIFC, as international banks continue to develop their presence in response to the region’s growing private wealth market.
