The Guild is giving families a new reason to look forward to Sundays with the launch of Only on Sundaes, a new weekly experience bringing together good food, creative play and plenty of entertainment for children. Launching on 23 August, the experience is designed with one simple idea in mind: giving parents the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed meal while the children have their own exciting day to enjoy.
Every Sunday from 9:00am to 7:00pm, The Aviary at The Guild will be transformed into a dedicated space for play, creativity and discovery, complete with a fun Nitro Sundae Bar. Children booked in alongside either breakfast or the Sunday Roast can enjoy complimentary entry, while guests only pay for any additional food and beverages ordered during their visit.
Younger children aged 1–5 can head to Little Explorers, a safe and supervised play area filled with activities to keep curious little minds occupied. From soft-play equipment and building blocks to face painting, a ball pool, a play kitchen and sensory activities, there is plenty to explore and enjoy.
For older children and teenagers, The Arcade Club provides a space of their own, featuring arcade games, air hockey, PlayStation stations and board games. Whether they are competitive gamers, creative types or simply looking for somewhere to relax with friends, the dedicated zone offers plenty to keep them entertained throughout the day.
From 12:00pm, children can also get involved in an interactive nitrogen ice cream activation, adding a fun and theatrical element to a classic sweet treat. It is the perfect afternoon activity and another highlight for children to look forward to each Sunday.
As the summer holidays draw to a close and the new school year approaches, Only on Sundaes offers families the perfect opportunity to make the most of those final carefree weeks. While children can spend the day playing, creating and making new friends, parents can enjoy a little time to themselves : all under one roof.
