The DIFC Academy School of Law will host a professional training session on DIFC Employment Law on 30 September 2026, covering key legal and practical considerations for professionals responsible for employees within the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
The in-person session will take place from 9am to 11am at DIFC Academy, Gate Village 2. It forms part of the DIFC Academy’s mandatory Continuing Legal Professional Development (CLPD) programme and is accredited by the Dubai Legal Affairs Department (DLAD).
The training is relevant to legal practitioners, in-house lawyers, HR specialists and senior managers responsible for a workforce within DIFC. Registration costs AED 800, and participants who successfully complete the session will receive two DIFC Mandatory CLPD points.
The session will cover key areas of DIFC Employment Law, including the legal framework, sponsorship, employer and employee obligations, alternative work models and general employment terms. It will also address discrimination and victimisation, termination of employment, post-termination restrictions and dispute resolution.
The course will be delivered by Luke Tapp, Partner, and Emma Noble, Senior Associate, offering participants an overview of key employment law requirements and their practical application within the DIFC workplace.
The programme forms part of DIFC Academy’s wider legal education offering, supporting professionals in maintaining their knowledge of DIFC Laws and meeting relevant continuing professional development requirements.
