Dubai – 25 June 2026
Dubai’s retail landscape has welcomed a new addition with the opening of The Coolrator at Gate Avenue, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The multi-brand concept store introduces a curated selection of contemporary fashion, beauty, homeware and gifts from Brazil and across Latin America, offering visitors a distinctive lifestyle experience shaped by Brazilian creativity and design.
Rather than focusing on a single country or traditional retail model, The Coolrator is built around a carefully curated perspective inspired by Brazil’s appreciation for colour, craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics. Every brand and product featured in the store has been selected to reflect this unique vision.
The launch comes as Brazilian culture and design continue to gain international recognition. What began as the global rise of “Brazilcore” has evolved into a broader appreciation for Brazilian creativity across fashion, art and lifestyle sectors. International fashion buyers are increasingly turning their attention to Brazilian designers, while the country’s cultural influence continues to grow on the global stage.
The store’s inaugural collection features leading brands including Amir Slama, Misci, Mixed, Lilly Sarti, Botti and Lethicia Bornstein, complemented by a curated range of beauty products, home décor and gifts. Future collections are expected to expand further across Latin America while maintaining the same curated approach.
Designed in Brazil by Rio de Janeiro-based KUBE Arquitetura, the store reflects the same design philosophy showcased by the products on display. The architecture studio is known for creating immersive retail environments for internationally recognised brands, while the store’s visual identity was developed by Brazilian creative agency Eye Content.
The choice of location reflects The Coolrator’s ambition to connect with Dubai’s diverse and design-conscious audience. Gate Avenue at DIFC has established itself as one of the city’s leading lifestyle destinations, bringing together retail, dining, wellness, art and entertainment experiences within a vibrant community hub.
“Brazil is having its moment, and you can feel it everywhere right now. We wanted to capture that energy authentically through the brands we carry and a store designed in Brazil down to the last detail. You won’t find this edit anywhere else in the Gulf,” said Renata Cavalcante, Founder of The Coolrator.
