Dubai – 01 June 2026

Positron AI Ltd, a US based developer of next-generation AI inference infrastructure, has established its first presence outside the United States in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for advanced artificial intelligence and digital innovation.

The expansion marks a significant milestone for Positron AI, which has raised more than USD 300 million in funding, including a USD 230 million Series B round, and achieved unicorn status amid growing global demand for AI infrastructure. The company’s move to DIFC comes as AI inference the deployment and operation of AI models in real-world environments emerges as the primary driver of computing demand worldwide.

By establishing operations in DIFC, Positron AI gains a strategic gateway to regional and international markets while contributing to the development of advanced AI infrastructure across the Middle East. The move further strengthens Dubai’s ambitions to lead the next wave of AI innovation and adoption.

Husni Khuffash, Managing Director, MENA, Positron AI, said:
“We are pleased to establish our presence in DIFC, a dynamic ecosystem that reflects our commitment to innovation and advancing the future of AI infrastructure. As demand for scalable AI capabilities continues to grow, Positron AI’s focus on energy-efficient and deployable inference solutions will support organizations seeking cost-effective and sustainable AI deployment. Our presence in DIFC enables us to engage closely with customers, regulators and partners while contributing to Dubai’s vision of building globally competitive digital and AI capabilities.”

Mohammad Alblooshi, Chief Executive Officer of the DIFC Innovation Hub, said:
“We are pleased to welcome Positron AI to the Dubai AI Campus ecosystem. The company’s innovative approach to AI inference infrastructure supports the next phase of growth across Dubai’s technology landscape and aligns with DIFC’s evolution as an AI-native destination. Positron AI’s expansion reinforces DIFC’s role as a launchpad for global technology companies and a gateway for future industries, while helping establish new benchmarks for AI governance, innovation and responsible adoption.”

As the AI industry shifts from model training to large-scale deployment, Positron AI is addressing critical infrastructure challenges through technologies designed to deliver lower operating costs, greater memory efficiency and reduced power consumption. Its proprietary architecture offers an alternative to conventional GPU-based systems, supporting more scalable and sustainable AI deployment.

The company’s first-generation server, Atlas, was developed to deliver high-performance inference for large language models while reducing power requirements and operating costs. Its next-generation platform, Titan, scheduled for launch in the first quarter of 2027, is expected to support frontier AI models with significant advances in performance and energy efficiency.

Positron AI’s entry into DIFC reflects growing momentum within the global AI sector and highlights the Centre’s role in attracting leading technology innovators. The company plans to use Dubai as a regional base for future expansion across the Middle East, supporting sovereign, scalable and sustainable AI deployments.

The move further strengthens DIFC’s position at the forefront of AI-driven transformation, where intelligent technologies are increasingly being integrated into financial services, enterprise operations and regulatory frameworks, supported by Dubai’s progressive regulatory environment, advanced digital infrastructure and global connectivity.
