DIFC urges community to follow official guidance amid regional tensions
The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Authority has issued fresh guidance to its community amid ongoing regional developments, urging residents, businesses and clients to follow official directives from the Dubai and UAE governments.
As a precautionary measure, authorities have advised people to remain indoors where possible and to avoid windows, doors and open spaces. Expatriates are also encouraged to stay updated with advisories issued by their respective home countries.
Businesses operating within DIFC have been asked to activate their business continuity plans and facilitate remote working arrangements wherever feasible.
The DIFC Authority confirmed that its services will continue uninterrupted, with employees working remotely from Monday, March 2, through Wednesday, March 4.
Despite the temporary shift to remote operations, normal Ramadan working hours will remain in place. DIFC Authority offices will operate from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Thursday, and from 9am to 12pm on Friday. DIFC Services will run from 9am to 2pm, Monday to Thursday, and from 9am to 11am on Friday.
