About Sky Garden
Set among the buildings of DIFC, Sky Gardens is a 40-storey mixed residential and commercial building located within Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), close to the Financial Centre Metro Station and the district's main business and lifestyle areas. Developed by Al Mazaya Holding Company, the building was completed in 2008 and was among the earliest residential developments in DIFC. Its location at the entrance to DIFC, near Sheikh Zayed Road and Emirates Towers, gives residents and visitors convenient access to the wider district, while its residential apartments provide a different side of DIFC beyond its predominantly office-focused environment.
What makes Sky Gardens distinctive is the way greenery is incorporated into the architecture. The building was designed around a series of landscaped garden levels, with nine gardens placed throughout the tower, creating pockets of greenery and quieter spaces within the high-rise. Its glass façade, landscaped interiors and rooftop garden give the building its name and create a contrast with the surrounding financial district.
Sky Gardens was also notable historically as DIFC's first high-rise residential development, helping establish the district as a place not only to work, but also to live.
