Dubai – 15 September 2026
Allianz Trade Middle East Limited (ATME Ltd.) has opened a new office at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), strengthening the company’s presence in the GCC and supporting its long-term regional growth.
The new office at DIFC Square follows the establishment of ATME Ltd. as a private company limited in DIFC. The company is regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and is licensed to conduct the financial services activity of Insurance Management, supporting trade credit insurance and reinsurance arrangements across the region.
Commenting on the opening, Salmaan Jaffery, Chief Business Development Officer at DIFC Authority, welcomed Allianz Trade Middle East Limited to DIFC and highlighted the company’s expanding role in trade credit insurance and risk management. He noted that its growing DFSA-regulated presence strengthens DIFC’s insurance ecosystem and reflects the Centre’s position as a hub for internationally regulated insurance, reinsurance and risk intelligence firms.
The approximately 5,200-square-foot office has been designed with sustainability, innovation and employee wellbeing in mind. The paperless workspace provides a modern base for Allianz Trade’s expanding regional operations, which are supported by more than 70 employees across ATME Ltd. and designated fronting partners in the GCC.
Dario Locatelli, Senior Executive Officer of Allianz Trade Middle East Limited (ATME Ltd.), described the new DIFC Square office as an important milestone in the company’s continued GCC growth. He highlighted the company’s ongoing investment in the region and said the new office reflects the strategic importance of the GCC to Allianz Trade, while supporting collaboration, more sustainable ways of working and its continued commitment to businesses across the region.
The new workplace has also received Great Place to Work® certification for June 2026 to June 2027, recognising the company’s focus on creating an inclusive and supportive working environment.
The expansion adds to DIFC’s growing insurance and reinsurance ecosystem, further strengthening its role as a financial centre for international firms operating across the MEASA region.
