Cigna Healthcare Middle East, a global health services leader, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ignyte, becoming the exclusive healthcare partner for start-ups supported by the Dubai-based innovation platform.
Ignyte, launched under the Dubai Digital Economy Strategy, aims to accelerate the growth and international reach of start-ups across various sectors. Since its inception in October 2024, the platform has supported:
- Over 3,000 start-ups
- A network of 300 mentors
- Backing from 180 investors
First Healthcare Provider for Ignyte
With this agreement, Cigna Healthcare becomes the first company to offer dedicated health solutions to the Ignyte ecosystem. The MoU was signed during the 2025 Dubai FinTech Summit at Madinat Jumeirah by:

– Mohammad Alblooshi, CEO of the DIFC Innovation Hub
Comprehensive Health Coverage for Start-ups
The partnership offers affordable, scalable health insurance plans tailored for entrepreneurs and their teams. Key features include:

Start-ups, mentors, and investors in the Ignyte network will also gain access to:
