Bar des Press

Bar des Press, situated on the 51st floor of ICD Brookfield Place in DIFC, presents a refined fusion of Franco-East Asian cuisine inside a setting reminiscent of a lavish 1920s men’s club, complete with mesmerizing city views. Discovered as a culinary gem in late 2024, this venue features the work of French celebrity chef Cyril Ligancy, whose cooking combines delicate innovation, a strong adherence to classic dishes, and flawless technique. The carefully curated menu avoids any controversy; every dish—whether it’s the yellowtail carpaccio with yuzu and passion fruit or the classic apple tart with vanilla ice cream—is visually stunning and reflects a masterful culinary philosophy.

The stage is shared by solo vocalists, saxophone players, and entire ensembles. The space fits about 40 people and features a stunning ceiling illuminated in a way that calls to mind Renaissance frescoes. Led by Chef Daniel Bara tier, who specializes in modern European fusion, and pastry chef Yazid Ichemrahen, recently appointed head of dessert at Paris’ prestigious Raffles hotel, the kitchen promises an exceptional culinary experience. When night falls, the lowered lighting sets the scene for some of the most exciting parties in the district, with social media already buzzing about giant champagne bottles and lavish drinks.
