Dubai – 4 September 2026
An exhibition by contemporary artist Rana Begum is entering its final days at the Farjam Foundation in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), giving visitors until 13 September to see the works on display.
Titled ‘Boundless Geometry’, the showcase brings together selected works by Begum from the Farjam Collection and is curated by Lisa A. Farjam. It opened on 13 May 2026 and explores Begum’s interest in the relationship between light, colour, geometry and space.
Begum is known for creating works that sit between sculpture, painting and installation. Across the collection on display, different materials and geometric forms create changing visual effects, with light and the viewer’s movement playing an important role in how the works are experienced.
Her practice also reflects an interest in architecture and Islamic geometry, bringing together pieces that explore repetition, structure and perception. Rather than treating geometry as a fixed form, Begum uses it to create works that can appear different depending on the surrounding light and the viewer’s position.
The showcase is presented by the Farjam Foundation, which displays works from the Farjam Collection through exhibitions and cultural programmes. For ‘Boundless Geometry’, selected works by Begum from the collection are being presented at the Foundation’s space in Gate Avenue 3.
With 13 September marking the closing date, visitors have only a short time left to experience the works before they leave the DIFC venue. Admission is free.
